The Company accepts the legal responsibilities as an employer to fulfil duties as documented by “Health and Safety at Work” Act 1974 and other relevant statutory provision. The Company believe the following points will help to fulfil its legal responsibilities:

Overall accountability for carrying out the policy will rest with the Managing Director
The Company has obligations to ensure the health, safety and welfare of its employees whilst at work and in particular to the provision of:-

Safe Plant
Safe access to and egress from place of work
Safe systems of work
Safe and healthy working environment
Information on safety to employees
Training of employees
Adequate welfare facilities
Monitoring of health
Arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transportation of articles and substances

All levels of management are to actively support and implement the Company Safety Policy, to encourage consultation on safety matters with employees, to support and attend Safety Committee meetings and where reasonably practicable, to take action on all valid safety improvements suggested.

It has similar obligations to other persons who may be either on the sites or premises or who may be affected by its operations.

Each employee will be responsible to ensure Health and Safety Policies are conducted for their own and others safety.

Ensuring all equipment is maintained and without risk when used by employees

To provide all necessary information, training and supervision to ensure Health and Safety is adhered to by all Company employees and others who may be affected.

To provide all necessary equipment and safety gear to carry out work as deemed by the Health and Safety Act, method statements and Customer’s health and safety procedures.

To record all accidents whatever to persons or equipment, to investigate causes and prevent reoccurrence.

To continually review Health, Safety and Environmental matters to achieve the highest possible standards

We will fully assess and respond accordingly to minimise the impact upon the environment of all our operations.
